EXCELLENCE IN LIFE simply means settling for nothing less than God's best at any point in time. Daniel 1:8;
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Hear this my friend; what defiles you is not food and wine but what you settle for.
When you settle for anything less than God's best for you in marriage, relationship, ministry, academics, career - you defile yourself; i.e reduce the quality of life you ought to enjoy. In God's best the quality of life He has planned out for you is beyond your comprehension.

Daniel lived an excellent life because daily and in all things he kept making sure he was in God's best. Are you daily and in all things settling for His best for you?
- It might be man's best but yet not God's best for you.
- It might be the king's best but yet not be God's best for you.
- It might be the world's best but yet not God's best for you.
Find out God's best for you in all thing by judging things by the word and His Spirit within you. They help establish His best for you.
Purpose in your heart never to settle for less; go for God's best for you. That my friend is excellence!
