The Spirit shall be leading men to the place of profiting but as many that shall willingly Obey to follow would have the heavens open to them to cause them to enjoy favour and fruitfulness.

Declare with me; I eat the good( the best) of the land. I'm yielded to the Spirit of God. Amen.

PASTOR CROWN : How To Monitor Your Spiritual Growth

My friend, here are 3 signs you are growing up spiritually;

1. You walk more by faith than by sight; this is prove that God is becoming more 'REAL' to you than the things you can see, smell, touch, taste and hear.

2. Your love for others ( especially the brethren) is abounding - A deeper love walk is sign that you are becoming more like God; God is love.

3. More patient in tribulations and persecution - our ability to hold on even when things seem to be falling apart is a sign that we have learnt to trust God more. It takes spiritual maturity to hold onto God, when in difficulty and tribulations. Most people when they find themselves in tribulations or in trouble would run from pillar to pole ; even strike a deal with the devil himself. That you are patient in trusting God is one prove of spiritual maturity.

Heaven rejoices to see you grow up spiritually in Christ Jesus; keep exercising yourself spiritual and keep feeding your spirit man maturity.

Mark Zuckerberg has met with a group of Pastors in Waco, Texas to understand how churches and faith communities find " deeper meaning" in in an ever-changing world.

In a Facebook post, he explained: “I met with ministers in Waco who are helping their congregations find deeper meaning in a changing world … This trip has helped me understand just how important community is, and how we’re all just looking for something we can trust. We may come from different backgrounds, but we all want to find purpose and authenticity in something bigger than ourselves.”

During his trip, which was part of his “Mark’s Year of Travel” campaign, Zuckerberg also met with “young moms … who moved back to their town because they want their kids to be raised with the same values they grew up with.”

Zuckerberg’s days in Texas included a trip to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, his first visit to a rodeo: “In many ways, I still don’t have a clear sense of Texas,” he explained. “This state is complex, and everyone has a lot of layers – as Americans, as Texans, as members of a local community, and even just as individuals. But this trip has helped me understand just how important community is and how we’re all just looking for something we can trust.”

As earlier reported, the 32-year-old billionaire recently announced he is no longer an atheist, but in fact sees religion as “very important”. Last year, Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, met with Pope Francis to discuss ways that technology could help the poor.

Following the visit, Zuckerberg took to social media to shared their admiration for the pontiff’s ability to connect with people of different faiths while remaining true to his own.

“Priscilla and I had the honor of meeting Pope Francis at the Vatican. We told him how much we admire his message of mercy and tenderness, and how he’s found new ways to communicate with people of every faith around the world,” Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook message.

“We also discussed the importance of connecting people, especially in parts of the world without internet access. We gave him a model of Aquila, our solar-powered aircraft that will beam internet connectivity to places that don’t have it. And we shared our work with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to help people around the world,” he added.

“It was a meeting we’ll never forget. You can feel his warmth and kindness, and how deeply he cares about helping people.”

1. The sun doesn't need anyone's approval or permission to be itself. It has only been following the command of its creator. The only vote you need to be you is that of God.

2. The sun has been consistent for thousands or more years. That's why it is trusted, we all wake everyday planning what we'd do with its light. Consistence attracts trust.

3. It has never given excuses why it won't come out any day. Excuses excludes men from the gathering of champions .

4. It does not discriminate, it shows love to both the good and the bad; that why it keep winning everyday for ages. Love puts you on the winning side of life. Keep loving, keep winning.

5. The sun does not respond to how it is treated the previous day or days rather it wakes up everyday with a smile and keep smiling all day long. Put on a smile today my friend; it costs nothing but it's still the greatest face lift to wear

6. The beauty of the sun is tied to the fact that the darker the area it finds itself, the brighter it shines. Keep your light and never allow the darkness around you overcome it,rather shine brighter.

7. The sun has lived and continues to live in the Obedience to that one word it got from God; it has never complained or disobeyed. It pays to obey God, even when it seem like foolishness or when it seem like it's taking too long for God to speak a next word, until He does keep obeying the last word he said. Imagine, rising and setting everyday, nothing more nothing less; it looks boring; but by obeying God we are fulfilling our purposes in life.

8. Just by rising and setting everyday, the sun is affecting nations and generations. My friend, never underestimate the power of little things to affect those around you and around the world forever.

9. The greatness of the sun is in the one thing is has been known to do; Shine. My friend you don't have to do many things to be great. All you need is just find that one thing you have been created to do. ONE thing.

10. The sun honours God and served men each time it shines. Shining is it's gift. Your gift is not meant for your profiting alone, it's meant for you to honour( worship) God and serve men. Don't keep it to yourself.

It was a touching moment when philanthropic Abuja based prophet and shepherd in charge of Champions Royal Assembly, Bro Joshua Iginla, dazzled REV Bitrus Toma who was the youth fellowship president way back in rukuba Cantonment jos.

We reliably gathered that the amiable prophet who loves to be simply called bro. Iginla heard that his former youth fellowship  president was facing lots of hardship, was not happy and instructed they should help locate him. 

Rev. Bitrus got the message and decided to pay bro. Iginla a surprise visit during service on sunday , January 29, 2017 inside their City  of wonders at Kubwa, Abuja. 

Immediately bro Iginla saw him he was moved by his pathetic state and immediately order a whole wardrobe change for him and startled him by giving him his own white 2016 Venzea he just bought.

The confused Rev was overwhelmed and  burst into tears of joy .

MESSAGE:

One great expectation of the Almighty God is that man, whom He created in His image and likeness, will appreciate His benevolent deeds to them. It is unfortunate, however, that from generation to generation man has been ungrateful. This is even more pronounced in these last days (Romans 1:21, 2nd Timothy 3:2). From today’s reading, we can see how expectant our Heavenly Father is for us to express appreciation whenever He does us good. Our Lord Jesus Christ, who came to show us the character of the Father, revealed this expectation to us through His reaction when only one leper returned to say “Glory to God in the highest”, even though ten were healed.

“And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.”

Luke 17:17-18

When we fail to appreciate God for who He is and for what He continuously does for us, we rob Him of His rightful glory and honour. Indeed, ingratitude is an act of robbery against God. It is also dangerous, because your joy cannot be full if you are unthankful. Open Heavens 2017 Saturday28 January 2017:- be thankful.  Of the ten lepers that were healed, the only one we can consider to have received the fullness of joy is the one who returned to give glory to God, because Jesus crowned his healing with wholeness.

There is another dimension to being grateful to God, which has to do with our appreciation of what He did for us when He gave His only begotten Son as atonement for our sins. The only way to show our gratitude for this gift is to accept His offer of salvation, which is free for us but which cost the life of the immaculate Son of God. We must embrace this offer with every sense of gratitude because there are consequences for rejecting it. Hebrews 2:3 says,

“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed into us by them that heard him;”

Beloved, the most profound gratitude we can show God, for all the things He has done for us, is to accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ and to live by the ideals He brought from His Father. God bless you as you do so today. Open heavens 2017

The Church Of Jesus Can Never Be Sick - Pastor Crown

             

The church SICK?

I have heard people describe the church of Jesus in Nigeria 'sick' and I wonder what they mean. It's more disheartening when men of God use this phrase.

Please can the church of Jesus be sick?
Do we understand what it means for the church of Jesus to be sick?
It simply means Jesus Himself is also sick. Yes! That's what you mean when you say the church is sick because the church is the body of Christ.

The body can't be 'sick' and the head (Jesus) 'well'. Please correct me if I'm wrong. When a part of our being is in pain the whole being is in pain.

The church is not those who go to church; the church is the body of Christ made up of those whose names are written in the book of life.

We may have many who go to church but the church of Jesus is made up of the very few people whose names are written in the book of life. These people have the same experience Jesus is having right now; they are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. You may see them walk the length and breath of the earth; they are the heavenly men. They cant be sick. The church is not sick unless you mean 'church goers'; please put the 'goers' after the church so we know those you are referring. Now I'm not writing this because YOU have used this phrase before or still use it, but I have seen that it has somehow become an adjective for the church.

The church of Jesus can't be sick not even physically talk less spiritually.

Kris Okotie made so much impact in the mind of young Nigerians who wanted to see a young, intelligent and charismatic Nigerian take the batton of leadership in Nigeria from the retired brains of retired Generals but the Reverend lost!
His claim that God told him he would become president was mocked by many but he didnt stop there, he pushed on with his party, F.R.E.S.H and he kept losing. Today , he doesn't contest the presidential elections anymore, many might say he lied about God saying he would become president but I think it depends on how you interpret prophecies.
We are made to know in the bible that we know in parts. I think Rev. Kris Okotie was not lying about becoming the president of Nigeria but only knew a piece of what God was using him to start in Nigeria at the time. God surely perfects what he has started. He works in mysterious ways too. Rev. Kris Okotie felt God wanted him to be president of Nigeria, he did all he could but looking back, one is convinced that he was just the John the Baptist who prepares the way for the messiah.
To butress my point, God has since continued his will to restore the nation with a pastor or born again Christian. You would recall that God made Muhammadu Buhari pick Pastor Tunde Bakare as his running mate. Yes they lost but again that pushed the needle a little bit further. Today, we have a full Pasror from RCCG in the person of Yemi Osinbajo serving in Aso Rock as the Vice President of Nigeria.
This is not the bus stop. Remember it is written, where ever you step your feet on, you shall possess! The Christian community through Yemi Osinbajo has possessed Aso Rock . The next big thing is a pastor will rule Nigeria and God will restore Nigeria through him.
 This is the vission Rev. Kris Okotie saw and I pray that like Rev. Jesse Jackson, he will live to see it happen. The Muslims have ruled this land for so long and nothing good has been achieved. You can count how many Christians who have ruled this nation and even though they were not born again Christians, they made some impacts.

Muslim Man Murders A Catholic Pensioner

A STRICT Muslim man murdered a Catholic pensioner during a robbery, a court has heard.

The 27-year-old defendant, named as Abubaker C, is accused of strangling the 70-year-old woman to death after breaking into her home on May 19 last year and leaving a series of Arabic and religious messages around the house.

The victim’s 74-year-old husband told the court in Heilbronn, Germany, he found her body with her hands tied and holding a cross. 

He said that his family were committed Catholics. 

A phone and an undisclosed sum of money had also been taken.

Prosecutors allege Abubaker killed the woman because she was “a disbeliever from his point of view”.

But the accused claimed he is the victim of a religious conspiracy during the trial.

DNA taken from the crime scene matched the defendant’s, while cotton fibres from a jacket and shoe prints also linked him to the murder, the judge said.

Several witnesses also identified him as the attacker.

The defendant, speaking in Punjabi through a translator, dismissed all allegations as “lies”.

He said he found a bag full of money and valuables at a train station on Heilbronn the morning after the murder.

He claimed he had been out on the night of the killing but not in the Bad Friedrichshall district, where the murder took place.

He said he was a victim of a religious conspiracy and had nothing against Christians, bizarrely adding “deadly violence” could be used against them in self-defence.

The defendant refused to give a precise date of birth, and changed his country of origin from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia.

The court also heard he moved to Germany in 2013 and came from a family so rich his previous job involved him counting his parents’ money.

The trial continues.
