UNDERSTANDING TRUE WORSHIP - RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth

(John 4:24).

When we talk about worship, there’re those who don’t understand what it is. They wonder, “Who do you worship?” “Why do you worship?” “What are the benefits of worship?” Worship is the recognition and appreciation of the goodness, blessings, kindness and righteousness of God. It’s the recognition, appreciation or confession of His character. For example, when you give thanks to God and say, “Lord, you’re good; you’re kind; you’ve blessed me; you’re righteous,” etc., you’re defining, recognizing, and appreciating His character.

God likes it when you worship Him like that because it shows who He is in your life; it separates Him from everyone else and from everything else. When you thank Him for His goodness, provisions, blessings, and all the wonderful things He’s given you, and done for you, you’re attributing those beautiful works to Him. The necessary result is that He’ll do more in your life.

Furthermore, worship brings to us a greater revelation of God. This is why we worship God and not men, angels or things. Neither men nor angels have the capacity or ability to reveal themselves beyond what they themselves can perceive. You can’t grow spiritually from knowing an angel or another human being; no human can reflect you to you, because every human being is unique to himself. But in fellowship, God reveals Himself to you, and in that process, He reveals you to you, and also reveals your future, your life, your personality, your value and then His purpose for your life.

That’s why when you study the Bible and read of men and women who encountered God, they all had a divine revelation of God’s purpose for their lives, an understanding of the future that God was leading them into, and a revelation of God Himself. Thus, worship for us is something much more than a form, a ritual or mere religious activity. When we worship God, there’s true recognition, a true perception, and real encounter with Deity.

When you’re in church and it’s time for worship, or when you worship in your closet, give it your attention; worship the Lord in reality, with this understanding.

Prayer

Dear Father, I recognize and appreciate your goodness, blessings, kindness, and righteousness. I worship you from my spirit for making me an excellent person, and decorating my life with your glory. I extol your majesty and praise you for your blessings and wondrous works in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today I want to announce to you my friend, that you don't have a problem as long as you are not the problem.

Yes, every challenge outside of you aren't REAL and can't stop you. Nothing can stop you except YOU.

If you are going to have a great day, a great month, a great year and a great life; it starts and ends with YOU.

In the book of Judges 11, we read about a young man called Jephthah; how he was born by a prostitute, rejected by his siblings for no reason other than he was the child of a concubine. He was disinherited, rejected and ejected out of the land of his father. But eventually he became the champion his people needed and they came to plead with him to forgive them, fight for them and become their head.

Regardless of what men may do to you today as long as you stay focused on your life assignments, they would come back seeking you. Don't allow today's rejections deny you tomorrow's promotions; don't allow today's pain, deny you tomorrow's gain. Don't become who you are not because of how you have been treated. Anyone is free to give up on YOU, but as long as you don't give up on yourself, you would laugh last.

May you have the Last laugh in that situation in Jesus name.

PASTOR CROWN : Key To Thrive In A Chaotic World

Daily we see scriptures being fulfilled, as the world continually becomes toxic as it said it would .

The key therefore to thriving has narrowed down to JESUS. The person and principles of Jesus remains the only way to overcome a dying and hurting world.

Wisdom simply is doing in a situation what Jesus would do in that same situation under the same circumstances. If we do in any situation what Jesus won't do in that situation we have crossed the borders of wisdom into the terrain of foolishness for Christ Jesus has become for us wisdom from God (1Corinthians 1:30.

There is no true wisdom outside Him. My friend, that decision you are about taking is it what Jesus would do in that situation? If your answer is a sincere YES; good, you are wise But if your answer is NO; then you may need to ask yourself what would Jesus do?

I leave you with this; Do today what Jesus would do today nothing more, nothing less.

You are blessed for life. Jesus is Lord, we win.

PASTOR CROWN : How To Monitor Your Spiritual Growth

My friend, here are 3 signs you are growing up spiritually;

1. You walk more by faith than by sight; this is prove that God is becoming more 'REAL' to you than the things you can see, smell, touch, taste and hear.

2. Your love for others ( especially the brethren) is abounding - A deeper love walk is sign that you are becoming more like God; God is love.

3. More patient in tribulations and persecution - our ability to hold on even when things seem to be falling apart is a sign that we have learnt to trust God more. It takes spiritual maturity to hold onto God, when in difficulty and tribulations. Most people when they find themselves in tribulations or in trouble would run from pillar to pole ; even strike a deal with the devil himself. That you are patient in trusting God is one prove of spiritual maturity.

Heaven rejoices to see you grow up spiritually in Christ Jesus; keep exercising yourself spiritual and keep feeding your spirit man maturity.

Mark Zuckerberg has met with a group of Pastors in Waco, Texas to understand how churches and faith communities find " deeper meaning" in in an ever-changing world.

In a Facebook post, he explained: “I met with ministers in Waco who are helping their congregations find deeper meaning in a changing world … This trip has helped me understand just how important community is, and how we’re all just looking for something we can trust. We may come from different backgrounds, but we all want to find purpose and authenticity in something bigger than ourselves.”

During his trip, which was part of his “Mark’s Year of Travel” campaign, Zuckerberg also met with “young moms … who moved back to their town because they want their kids to be raised with the same values they grew up with.”

Zuckerberg’s days in Texas included a trip to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, his first visit to a rodeo: “In many ways, I still don’t have a clear sense of Texas,” he explained. “This state is complex, and everyone has a lot of layers – as Americans, as Texans, as members of a local community, and even just as individuals. But this trip has helped me understand just how important community is and how we’re all just looking for something we can trust.”

As earlier reported, the 32-year-old billionaire recently announced he is no longer an atheist, but in fact sees religion as “very important”. Last year, Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, met with Pope Francis to discuss ways that technology could help the poor.

Following the visit, Zuckerberg took to social media to shared their admiration for the pontiff’s ability to connect with people of different faiths while remaining true to his own.

“Priscilla and I had the honor of meeting Pope Francis at the Vatican. We told him how much we admire his message of mercy and tenderness, and how he’s found new ways to communicate with people of every faith around the world,” Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook message.

“We also discussed the importance of connecting people, especially in parts of the world without internet access. We gave him a model of Aquila, our solar-powered aircraft that will beam internet connectivity to places that don’t have it. And we shared our work with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to help people around the world,” he added.

“It was a meeting we’ll never forget. You can feel his warmth and kindness, and how deeply he cares about helping people.”

Here are few WISDOM from the sun that would sure make you the success you are meant to be ;

1. The sun doesn't need anyone's approval or permission to be itself. It has only been following the command of its creator. The only vote you need to be you is that of God.

2. The sun has been consistent for thousands or more years. That's why it is trusted, we all wake everyday planning what we'd do with its light. Consistence attracts trust.

3. It has never given excuses why it won't come out any day. Excuses excludes men from the gathering of champions .

4. It does not discriminate, it shows love to both the good and the bad; that why it keep winning everyday for ages. Love puts you on the winning side of life. Keep loving, keep winning.

5. The sun does not respond to how it is treated the previous day or days rather it wakes up everyday with a smile and keep smiling all day long. Put on a smile today my friend; it costs nothing but it's still the greatest face lift to wear

6. The beauty of the sun is tied to the fact that the darker the area it finds itself, the brighter it shines. Keep your light and never allow the darkness around you overcome it,rather shine brighter.

7. The sun has lived and continues to live in the Obedience to that one word it got from God; it has never complained or disobeyed. It pays to obey God, even when it seem like foolishness or when it seem like it's taking too long for God to speak a next word, until He does keep obeying the last word he said. Imagine, rising and setting everyday, nothing more nothing less; it looks boring; but by obeying God we are fulfilling our purposes in life.

8. Just by rising and setting everyday, the sun is affecting nations and generations. My friend, never underestimate the power of little things to affect those around you and around the world forever.

9. The greatness of the sun is in the one thing is has been known to do; Shine. My friend you don't have to do many things to be great. All you need is just find that one thing you have been created to do. ONE thing.

10. The sun honours God and served men each time it shines. Shining is it's gift. Your gift is not meant for your profiting alone, it's meant for you to honour( worship) God and serve men. Don't keep it to yourself.

Pro Joshua Iginla dazzles former youth fellowship president 2016 Venza car

   

It was a touching moment when philanthropic Abuja based prophet and shepherd in charge of Champions Royal Assembly, Bro Joshua Iginla, dazzled REV Bitrus Toma who was the youth fellowship president way back in rukuba Cantonment jos.

We reliably gathered that the amiable prophet who loves to be simply called bro. Iginla heard that his former youth fellowship  president was facing lots of hardship, was not happy and instructed they should help locate him. 

Rev. Bitrus got the message and decided to pay bro. Iginla a surprise visit during service on sunday , January 29, 2017 inside their City  of wonders at Kubwa, Abuja. 

Immediately bro Iginla saw him he was moved by his pathetic state and immediately order a whole wardrobe change for him and startled him by giving him his own white 2016 Venzea he just bought.

The confused Rev was overwhelmed and  burst into tears of joy .

My friend, if it is not Love, it is not God. Let love lead in that situation and watch as you prevail over it like a piece of cake. Love is God and God is love; therefore, whatever is God( love) wins;

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them ( 1John 4:16)

for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith ( 1John 5:4).

MESSAGE:

One great expectation of the Almighty God is that man, whom He created in His image and likeness, will appreciate His benevolent deeds to them. It is unfortunate, however, that from generation to generation man has been ungrateful. This is even more pronounced in these last days (Romans 1:21, 2nd Timothy 3:2). From today’s reading, we can see how expectant our Heavenly Father is for us to express appreciation whenever He does us good. Our Lord Jesus Christ, who came to show us the character of the Father, revealed this expectation to us through His reaction when only one leper returned to say “Glory to God in the highest”, even though ten were healed.

“And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.”

Luke 17:17-18

When we fail to appreciate God for who He is and for what He continuously does for us, we rob Him of His rightful glory and honour. Indeed, ingratitude is an act of robbery against God. It is also dangerous, because your joy cannot be full if you are unthankful. Open Heavens 2017 Saturday28 January 2017:- be thankful.  Of the ten lepers that were healed, the only one we can consider to have received the fullness of joy is the one who returned to give glory to God, because Jesus crowned his healing with wholeness.

There is another dimension to being grateful to God, which has to do with our appreciation of what He did for us when He gave His only begotten Son as atonement for our sins. The only way to show our gratitude for this gift is to accept His offer of salvation, which is free for us but which cost the life of the immaculate Son of God. We must embrace this offer with every sense of gratitude because there are consequences for rejecting it. Hebrews 2:3 says,

“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed into us by them that heard him;”

Beloved, the most profound gratitude we can show God, for all the things He has done for us, is to accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ and to live by the ideals He brought from His Father. God bless you as you do so today. Open heavens 2017
